In terms of meals, my best advice is to buy lots of fruit and pre-cut veggies to keep on-hand and throw into meals - it makes it so much easier! Personally, I'm also a big fan of smoothies/protein shakes for breakfast, which are super quick and easy to make in a blender (even if you don't have a full kitchen).
I reeeeeeally don't think I'm overeating the other two days, but I'll give it a shot. I actually wear a Fitbit and their app has a food tracking part, so I'll try that next week and see if I learn anything. Can't hurt at this point... I'm about to give up on this whole IF thing
@anitahillfan Thanks so much for sharing your story!! My doctor mentioned phentermine (and other weight loss meds) at my last appointment and I'm just really not sure about them... I've heard so many bad stories, so it's nice to hear a good one too! This makes me wonder whether I should give it a shot....
@juliebean27 Hey Julie - check with your primary care doc (or OB-GYN) to see if you can get a referral! Lots of times insurance will cover at least some of the cost if the RD appointment is deemed "medically necessary"
@Jairan I took 37.5 not Lomaira but just my two cents.....
Phentermine was great when I was on it. I forgot to eat all the time and lost 9 pounds in a month. But then my doctor left the clinic and the other docs didn't want to prescribe it, so I tried to do it on my own. I felt worse than before the pills and even though I was going to the gym I still gained weight back because of my anxiety medication. Now I'm taking a supplement that my friend recommended. They have literally changed my life and they're all natural.
@Zack thank you, I appreciate it. I lost my wife 5 years ago and I feel like I'm reliving the situation again and then some... Its hard. I'm very thankful for my health right now I'll tell you that much.
